For thousands of years, cultures throughout the world, including many Native American communities, used bows and arrows for utilitarian purposes, such as hunting. In modern times, archery is often used for recreational purposes, but it can still be an exciting way to practice patience, dexterity, hand-eye coordination and other useful skills. Anytime between 1:00 pm and 3:00pm, join one of our staff members who is a USA Archery Certified Instructor for a quick pop-up archery experience intended for beginners to learn the basics of how to safely and accurately shoot a bow and arrow. Think you can hit a bullseye? Come give it your best shot!!
For safety reasons, we can only allow a certain number of participants on our archery range at a time. While you wait for your turn, make a leather wrist guard to help protect your arm during archery practice.
Please note: The archery portion of this program is outdoors, so participants should dress appropriately for the weather and wear close-toed shoes.
Space is limited and pre-registration is recommended. Questions? Please contact us using the information listed above. Price of participation includes materials
